Salary: £24,710
Hours: Mon – Sun, 0800 - 1800 
Location: The VHQ, Crawley 
Contract: 12 Month FTC

In a nutshell

Are you ready to make a difference? As a Holidays Reclaims Adviser, you'll be an essential part of 
our Customer Care Team, working to recover funds and handle billing queries with precision and care. 

Your mission? To ensure our customers get the compensation they deserve, while collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to resolve any hiccups along the way.

Day to day

  • Analyse trends in failures and errors, taking initiative, problem solving – Working with Internal specialist departments & external stakeholders to resolve issues preventing reclaims process and reporting back to line manager 
  • Responsible for liaising with Finance to ensure monies are deducted from appropriate suppliers, in line with agreement received and/or company policy dealing with any queries.  
  • Ensure all relevant documentation and notes relating to investigations are appropriately documented. 
  • Provide weekly and monthly update to Data Insight Specialist on amount reclaimed across all relevant payment codes. And report and feedback on re-occurring issues with payments.  
  • Responsible for checking BSP for Agency Credit Memos issued by airlines VA etc.  
  • Negotiate Legal Recoveries with suppliers, insurers, and legal teams to obtain agreement and deduct.  
  • Point of call for all internal and external suppliers querying reclaims.  
  • Ensure that all correspondence is appropriately acknowledged daily, in accordance with required guidelines. 
  • Investigate with suppliers or other Virgin Atlantic Holidays departments when any issues are highlighted. 
  • Get involved with additional project work within the Customer Care team as and when required.
