In a nutshell

As Cabin Crew Operations Manager you will report into the Head of Cabin Crew Operations. Your main goal is to help promote a positive and efficient working environment for our fabulous Cabin Crew, helping to deliver the best service to our passengers. 

Day to day

In order to achieve our goals within the cabin crew area of the business, you will: 

  • Manage and implement the operational plan for the department.  
  • Build strong relationships with the Union and key partners across the business.
  • Through collaborative working, create lean processes that are fit for purpose.  
  • Be accountable for evaluating operational performance, key metrics and raising standards through a program of continuous improvement.
  • Manage the LHR and MAN Coordinator teams, who ensure the cabin crew operations runs smoothly at the gatehouse. 
  • Deliver the Health, Safety, and Security activity within the area. 

About you

Are you an excellent influencer who excels in building relationships at any level of the business? Do you have a solid understanding of unionised environments in an operational airline environment? If this sounds like you and you have the below skills and capabilities, then we'd love to hear from you!
 
  • Evidence of strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to deal with difficult and challenging business issues
  • Evidence of strong planning and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong commercial awareness is essential
  • Previous experience of a unionised workforce
  • Broad airline operational knowledge
