In a nutshell

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Resource Planning Coordinator to join our Airport Resource Planning team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment. You will ensure that our trained employee supply meets forecasted demand on a consistent basis to ensure that the Airports and Clubhouse teams meet service level objectives at an appropriate cost, whilst delighting our Passengers!

A key part of this role is the accurate scheduling of airport employees, while driving a balance between Customer demand and employee availability. Maintaining acceptable engagement and work-life balance requirements is also important for employee wellbeing, along with low absence and attrition results.

This role would also perform detailed analysis of past planning metrics and propose assumptions for future plans, ensuring agreement and approval from all relevant parties to establish a collective plan, as well as:

- Analyse forecast and performance metrics to develop resource models, identifying trends in demand and supply for capacity planning purposes.
- Ensure that employee attrition and recruitment assumptions are built into plan, allowing for adequate time for recruitment where required.
- Produce “what-if” scenarios to model impact of demand or supply changes where required.
- Work with Operational partners to close off any capacity gaps, using pre-determined contingency actions.
- Build schedules to provide adequate levels of cover, regardless of work activity, location and time, to deliver service level targets consistently and within budget.
- Maintaining excellent and effective working relationships with key Customers including directly supported employees, airport management and partners including Marketing, HR, Finance and facilities.

About you

Are you someone who enjoys taking a proactive approach and is inquisitive about what you're doing? Do you have excellent analytical skills with good attention to detail? We're also looking for the following:
