Hours: 37.5 Monday to Friday
Location: VHQ, Crawley. Hybrid remote working with at least 1 day a week in the office. Some ad hoc travel may be required.
Contract: Secondment (12 months)

In a nutshell

We have an exciting opportunity for an Airport Operations Policy and Process Executive to join our amazing Airport Operations team on a 12 months’ Secondment. This role provides the airports with clear policies, procedures and global standards for both above and below wing operations including baggage, the ramp, load control, customer services and de-icing whilst ensuring safe and compliant global airport operations. This is a fantastic development role with excellent networking opportunities and flexible working so ‘you can do the job from anywhere’. You will also have the opportunity to travel and work on new and exciting projects.

Day to day

From carrying out risk assessments to ensuring continuous improvement, this role will be pivotal in ensuring the airline and airport's policies and procedures are at the required standards. You will also:

- Create, update and deliver the global standards documents and airport manuals for all airport operations functions including above and below wing.
- Ensure clear, accessible, outstanding policy, processes and procedures for airport operations activities.
- Support the business improvement and field-based teams by adapting and evolving the global standard templates as required to ensure standards are consistently improved.
- Continuously consult with partners from around the business to ensure the global standards are driving compliance, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Ensure that all airport operations align with VAA policies, processes and procedures and that all government mandated security procedures and industry safety standards are followed.

About you

Are you someone who enjoys doing things differently and enthusiastic about continuous improvement? We're also looking for the following:

- Recent experience of working in an operational airport environment (below wing is important while experience in above wing would be desirable).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
