Hours: 37.5 Monday to Friday
Location: Hybrid remote working with 3 days a week in office, with at least 1 day in our Dnata City, Heathrow office and 2 days in either the Heathrow or VHQ Crawley office.
Contract: Permanent

In a nutshell

We have a great opportunity for an Analyst join our Cargo Strategy and Planning team. This small but passionate team plays a key role in the delivery of strategic, quantitative and qualitative insight to all departments within the cargo business and the wider airline, while handling our databases and monitoring performance.

Day to day

You're probably wondering what your day to day would look like. Our Cargo Strategy and Planning Analysts provide insight, recommendations, and promote informed decision making to enable the business to achieve its objectives. 

To do this you’ll be using systems and tools such as Power BI, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Databricks, Excel, and PowerPoint.

You'll also work closely with Senior Analysts in the team and will have the opportunity to lead projects, improve decision making and manual processes in line with business needs. 

About you

Do you enjoy working with data and thinking technically? Then this could be the role for you! 
To be successful in your application, we're looking for the following: 

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyse and present data with strong attention to detail
- Good at working under pressure with a flexible approach to changing demands
- Excellent problem-solving skills with commercial and operational competence
- Ability to work autonomously

In addition to the above, the following is desirable but not necessarily required:

- 2+ years analytical experience 
- Experience of the logistics or airline industry
- Experience with SQL / Python or other coding languages 
- Experience developing reports with Power BI or Tableau
