In a nutshell

Responsible for supporting the Identity and Access Management function that sits within the Information and Cyber Security team. You will report into the Manager, Identity and Access Management and be passionate about supporting the development of the IAM strategy, operating identity, and access management solutions.  Principally responsible for implementing and operating access identity, and access management solutions and processes.
Manage projects, lead, and mentor other Access Management analysts.

Day to day

  • Assist the Manager, Identity and Access Management with the development and implementation of IAM strategy across Virgin Atlantic and its service partners.
  • Support the design of the future state, set maturity targets with management, and develop improvement plans.
  • Establish and operate a coordinated set of Identity Management capabilities providing an agreed set of identity services to the Network, Infrastructure, End user Services and Digital teams.
  • Collect important operational reports regarding a specific set of Key Risk Indicators (KRI's) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) related to all service areas.
  • Maintain a clear set of access rules and operational guidelines for all aspects of the estate.
  • Ensure privileged accounts are brokered, just in time access granted and use appropriately monitored.
  • Bring consistency of control maturity and visibility across PIM in cloud environments.
  • Document and evolve the current delivery model, service catalogue and NIST aligned maturity level.
  • Support the implementation of the people, processes, and technology capabilities needed to achieve target maturity.

About you

  • CISSP / CISA / CISM certification through ISACA or an equivalent professional body desirable.
  • Strong understanding of standard methodologies and compliance in information security, including ISO27001/2, NIST, PCI/DSS, EUGDPR, and emerging cyber security standards.
  • Familiarity with various Identity and Access Management solutions is required, as well as experience in related processes.
  • You will have experience in implementing or supporting the implementation of PAM and UAM tooling and supporting business processes.
  • You will have a consistent record of inspiring change through innovation, process evolution, simplification, and capability exploitation.
  • Understanding of service-led delivery and experience in managing vendors, suppliers, and operational performance
