In a nutshell
In this role as Senior Manager – Agency Sales you’ll be driving the strategy and maximizing opportunities from TMC discretionary, SME, and specialist accounts. You will be fully accountable for achieving the UK new specialist sales targets, growing TMC discretionary sales, and building the B2B UK sales, distribution, and content strategy with the UK agency sales team and EJV Partners. Your responsibilities will include relationship management, marketing & engagement, and ensuring consistent approaches with EJV partners.
Day to day
- Lead and mentor a team of 3 account managers, driving a performance culture within the new business sales organization.
- Develop and execute detailed sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets and business objectives.
- Shape the content criteria and pricing strategy for GB agency, ensuring the right content is provided to appropriate agencies to drive incremental sales.
- Own and manage reporting capabilities of discretionary and specialist business on an ongoing basis.
- Maximize sales efficiencies through documented, structured, and detailed sales strategies.
- Regularly communicate performance and trends to HO agency and corporate sales, implementing documented action plans.
- Collaborate with various departments, including Revenue Management, Marketing, Distribution, and EJV partners, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
About you
Do you have a strong background in sales or client-based commercial functions combined with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills? Can you work independently while influencing stakeholders at all levels? Then this could be the role for you!
Alongside the above, we’re looking for the following:
- Excellent negotiation skills with proven history of achieving results, leading complex, multiparty/international bid processes.
- Relentless sales focus and results orientation, with proven analysis-led decision-making.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, including large audience presentation experience.
- Experience informally leading teams or projects/matrix management experience.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders, including the leadership team.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to think across multiple work groups simultaneously.
