In a nutshell

Undertake a comprehensive range of Property and Facility services to meet the requirements of a challenging 24/7 operational environment at Heathrow and Swansea, ensuring the Property Portfolio is maintained to a high standard and is compliant with current legislation. 

Day to day

Property Portfolio Management
To own the relationship with the business area to ensure we plan for their short and long-term space requirements, often working on confidential initiatives with our Stakeholders. 
Liaison with landlords and managing agents to ensure we maximise any potential opportunities, aligning with the Property strategy, ensuring we remain safe, resilient, and fit for purpose. This includes both the services and aesthetic aspects of our properties. 

Property Changes
Manage all building changes, including minor office relocations, building enhancement projects, play an integral part in wider landlord lead projects involving multiple stakeholders. Ensuring change is delivered in a cost effective and compliant manner to time, cost, and quality requirements.

Act as the primary interface for stakeholders to liaise and work on proposed moderate changes to the workplace, leading and supporting business case creation (where applicable) and seeing the change through from start to finish, coordinating relevant stakeholders and proactively driving progress. Ensuring all changes are reflected in the central Property database. 

Supplier and Landlord Management
Owner of project supplier relationships as applicable, which will include furniture providers, removals specialists, space planning and landlord relationships. In each instance, ensuring the requirements are clearly defined and delivered and all associated administration is tightly controlled.

Stakeholder Engagement
Central point of contact on stakeholder engagement activity and new initiatives, balancing customer demand with central strategy and budget. Support / ownership of property related BAU and events. This includes supporting promotions and facilitating moves of equipment. 

Supporting ‘Most Loved’ Vision
Ensure building condition is aligned with our ‘Most Loved’ vision, regularly walking properties that the role holder ‘champions’, ensuring they are tidy and well presented. Encouraging building occupants to take responsibility for their environment, strictly adhering to the department procedures to log all Property related requests, issues and faults via Facilities Red Hot Assist Helpdesk.

About you

Do you have a background in the Facilities arena coupled with some legislative knowledge (not essential) If this sounds like you and you have the below skills and capabilities, then we'd love to hear from you!
 
Customer focused, with an attention to detail that can ensure our properties are at their best, whilst also being able to balance customer demand with budget and practicality, challenging where appropriate.

Good analytical skills with the ability to deliver small projects against tight deadlines (e.g. office moves, small fit out initiatives), proactively driving forward with minimal supervision. 
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Some experience of supplier and contractor management.

Flexibility to travel to alternate locations occasionally.
